As of July 1, 2014, the Center for Business & Information Technologies (CBIT) is now part of the overarching Informatics Research Institute (IRI) at UL Lafayette. The new institute serves as a driver for optimization across the three Centers (including NIMSAT Institute; Center for Business & Information Technologies; NSF Center for Visual and Decision Informatics) and facilitates integration with the broader academic enterprise. Henry Chu, Ph.D. will serve as the Executive Director of IRI.
