Smart Community Summit
The Inaugural Smart Community Summit is Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 9:00 to 11:45 a.m. in the Abdalla Hall Auditorium. the event is held in conjunction with the CajunCodeFest 5.0 Smart Community Coding competition. For more information on the summit and compeition, visit www.cajuncodefest.org.
Topics in the morning include Smart City Concepts & Success Stories, Building Research Partnerships for Civic Impact, and Creating Lafayette's Smart Community Vision.
In the afternoon, there will be an open meeting at CGI on "Learn about LEaRN: The Lafayette Engagement and Research Network," an initiative that will deploy 300 air quality sensors across Lafayette.
