The Health Data Initiative (HDI) Starter Kit serves as starting
point to show what HHS data resources are at your disposal and how this data
may be useful to data users to launch innovative applications and services. The
slides contain brief text descriptions of key data sets -- the underlined data
set titles hyperlink to where you can learn more about and get the actual data.
The data sets listed are just a subset of what you can get on HealthData.gov, but we hope that they represent
great data with which to start.
Please click here to download the CajuncodeFest 2012 data agreement provided by Louisiana's Department of Health and Hospitals (LDHH). This agreement needs to be signed by all participating team members to prohibit misuse of data and to ensures compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) Privacy Rule.
